Personality: Sotaru is a very critical and warily boy, especially to strangers. Once he gets to know the other person better though, he gets clingy and eventually get a little annoying. He thinks, it's better to have a few, very close friends, than many friends that actually are not really "friends". This is basically the reason he doesn't have many friends. If Sotaru has a bad impression of someone, he'd probably never become friends with them.
Sotaru is rather introvert about his feelings.  if he likes something, he'd eventually slowly hint at it. On the other hand, if something bothers him, he'd show it immediately. Still Sotaru sets great value upon politeness. He'd never oppose an upper class man, teacher or other people that are supposed to get respect of him.  
But Sotaru can be very stubborn, too. Once Sotaru has set his mind on something he'd try doing it. This way he often is stretched to his physical limits.
Sotaru also dislikes the most girls, because his mother betrayed his father with someone else, when he was 11.

Biography: Fujikawa Sotaru, 2nd son of his family, is an "average" boy. He took average interest in his future and just took each day as it comes. One day, with the age of 6, he saw a soccer game in the tv, which caught his attention, so he decided to start playing soccer, since his parents wanted him to do something that is fun to him. Until he started playing soccer, he was only lying in his room all day. 
When Sotaru first touched a soccer ball, he thought "what is that? It looks like a small round panda bear.", but shortly after he played with his biggest passion. Sotaru started trying out different kinds of sports, which all were interesting to him, but after all he decided to only stick with soccer, so he could focus on his favourite thing. 
When Sotaru was 11, his parents divided, because his mother found someone else she could be happy with. After this Sotaru barely got close to any girl anymore, basically because he's afraid to be hurt. Hurt like he was hurt when he was told that his mother would leave to live with someone else. 
Today Sotaru lives with his father and his elder brother Takumi, he never had such a good relationship with his brother though, because Takumi was rather the "study-type".
